A very peaceful Eilean Donan Castle but I miss the hustle and bustle. I hope everybody is keeping well and hope to see you soon! 📷 @drwphotography1
Spring making a welcome appearance in the highlands. A beautiful morning to take my pipes with me on my daily walk up the hill behind my house. Definitely my favourite view in the world!
Scotland reminding us of what she is capable of today. I hope everybody is still keeping well during these difficult times. One of my favourite spots in the world and only a small cycle from my house.
Playing the old tune "The maids of Kintail" with the Kintail and Five sisters in the background.
Hope everybody is managing to stay safe as happy during lockdown. I’ve been taking my pipes on walks and cycles from the house and hopefully brightening listeners’ days. Playing the tune ‘Dornie Ferry’ on the jetty where the ferry crossed, until the bridge was built in the 1940’s.
A fine morning in Ardelve.
Day 2 - one of the lowest tides of the year made for a good place to play today. Hope everybody is keeping well in these strange times! Tune is Eagle’s whistle by mr traditional
The myriad of travel restrictions offer time for me to step back and appreciate my immediate surroundings. I feel fortunate to be able to walk to so many beautiful places within a few kilometres of my home. That will be the theme of my videos for the next two weeks with the purpose of brightening up the day of the viewer.
Tune is "Ardelve to Peinnachoran" by me.
Looking forward to returning to Scotland to a summer full of weddings and elopments after a beautiful winter spent in British Columbia.
